2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Lord, I praise you and thank you that you have given me a sound mind. I lay claim to that this day. Thank you that you are “not the author of confusion but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33). I choose peace this day, and I worship you, the God of peace.
Thank you that I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Thank you that you enable me to cast down every argument and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of you and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Help me to be renewed in my mind and put on the new person you created me to be in righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:22-24).

Psalm 30:11-12 (NLT)
You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever!
Lord, I worship you. You are my Lord and King, my precious Redeemer. There is no other God like you, entirely full of goodness, grace, and mercy.
You heal us when we are broken-hearted and bandage our wounds. You build us up when we are weak in our soul (Psalm 147:1-4).
You are great and powerful, O lord, and you understand all things, even what is in my heart (Psalm 4:7). This day I put on the garment of praise in exchange for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:1-3), and I glorify you as Lord of all.
Prayer Points
Thank the Lord for allowing you to participate in this year’s 21 days of prayer and fasting.
1 John 1:9 – Confess any known and unknown sins.
Praise the Lord for bringing you and your household into the year 2022.
1 Kings 18:46 - God give me special strength during this fasting season.
2 Corinthians 5:17 – Father, I thank You that I am a new creation in Your eyes.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 – Jesus, I thank You that You have given me spiritual weapons that is energized with divine power to dismantle the schemes of the enemy.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 – Jesus, I thank You that You have given me spiritual weapons that is energized with divine power to nullify any negative thought and emotions from my life in this season in Jesus’ name. (praise Him fervently)
1 Corinthians 14:33 – Lord, I thank you that You are “not the author of confusion but of peace”.
1 Corinthians 14:33 – Father, I declare that there will be no confusion in and around my life, household and PPT in this season. (2022)
1 Corinthians 2:16 – God Almighty, I thank You that You have given me the mind of Christ.
Jesus, remove any evil plantings of negative thoughts and emotions from my life and family now. (pray this fervently)
Ephesians 4:23 – God Almighty, let there be a change of my mindset (spiritual, social, economic etc) in this season in alignment with Your precepts in Jesus’ name. (pray this fervently)
Psalm 30:11 – Jehovah, like David turn my mourning in the past (mention them) into my dancing this year.
Psalm 30:11 – Father, I make demands on Your word, that any mourning of mine in 2022 will be turned into my dancing. (pray this fervently)
Lord, turn any mourning of PPT and the church into dancing, this year.
Psalm 4:7 – Father, let greater joy be our (myself, household, PPT) portion this year. I declare that joy and greater joy will be our portion. (pray this fervently)
Pray about 4 things you would want God to do for you during this 21-day fast.
Prayer Declaration
I will extol you oh Lord because you are my God and king. Ruler of the universe, as creation praises you everyday, so will I bless you and praise your name. Father, your greatness is unsearchable. Jehovah El-Roi (the God who sees) you see my situation in 2022, and have already made provisions for my success because your mercies will be new daily this year for me, my household, and the church in Jesus’ name. Therefore, I am hopeful that in 2022 my path will be brighter daily. The path of the church will be brighter daily. My future will be better than my past; 2022 will be better than 2021 because you will surround me with victories. Jehovah Nissi you are my banner and you will go before me and fight my battles. So shall it be.
