Today we give thanks for the nation we call home. Canada is a land blessed with vast beauty, rich diversity, and abundant opportunity. From coast to coast to coast, we celebrate the people, communities, and values that have shaped our country and continue to guide its future.

We are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, the peace we often experience,
and the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve our nation. We honor the contributions of Indigenous peoples, early settlers, immigrants, and generations of Canadians who have worked to build a society marked by compassion, justice, and mutual respect.

As we celebrate Canada Day, we recognize that no nation is perfect.
We acknowledge our challenges and shortcomings while renewing our commitment to work together for the common good. May we continue to be a people who care for our neighbors, welcome the stranger, pursue reconciliation, and seek justice for all.

As followers of Christ, we remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven, yet God has called us to be faithful stewards and servants within the nation where He has placed us. May we seek the welfare of our country, pray for its leaders, and be instruments of God's grace and peace in our communities.
