Day 14 – Jehovah, we need Your presence in healing!

Read: Joshua 3:3,6,11; Exodus 33:12-15

Devotional

With the theme Lord, Take Us Where We’ve Never Been Before, we are believing God for signs, wonders, miracles and healings to be performed as we welcome the presence of God in our services today!

The Scriptures reveal to us the names of God which describe the nature and character of God. One of God’s names is Yahweh Rapha meaning The Lord Who Heals.

"and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”  Exodus 15:26

God is our Healer, in all three dimensions of our being: body, soul and spirit!

Isaiah prophesied that spiritual and body healing would be provided through the death of Christ on the cross:

"But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed."  Isaiah 53:5

His name, Yahweh Rapha, assures each of us that our Heavenly Father wants to restore wholeness in every dimensions of our lives including our souls, which is our mind, emotions and will! For He gave us the promise, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)

So the end result for us to, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.” (Psalm 103:2-3) Amen!

So may we come together ready to bless the Lord for all His benefits and especially His provision of healing. May God fill us with great faith, anticipation and expectation as we gather in our services this morning and then again tonight for our special healing and miracles service with Finu Iype! Be sure to invite someone to join you today and let’s allow God to, Take Us Where We’ve Never Been Before … in healing and miracles!
