In Jesus’ Name I Will Possess The Land
We’ve just completed our New Year’s 21 Days of Fasting & Prayer this past Sunday asking, Lord, take us where we’ve never been before in taking new territory for the kingdom of God. What a thrill it was to anoint and pray with Pastor Shamoon & Robina Munir and their church family as they launch our new campus ministry, PPT South Asian Fellowship for the expressed purpose of taking new territory in Brampton and reaching the souls of men, women, and children for Jesus Christ!
Just a reminder that the last Wednesday of every month is our regular monthly day of fasting and prayer. So this month, our prayer theme is to possess the land, in Jesus name! The biblical basis for this is found in Joshua, where he declares: Today you will know that the living God is among you. He will surely drive out the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites, and Jebusites ahead of you (Joshua 3:10). We are asking the Lord to uproot and drive out all the agents of evil from our lives, households, church, and community as we seek take new territory for God.
This is necessary as the Bible makes it clear: For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These rulers, authorities, powers and spirits reign over cities and regions and seek to hinder, resist and blind people to reality of God’s kingdom and the freedom found in Jesus Christ!
We are called to engage in spiritual warfare prayer asking Jesus to break their power, authority and influence, so that the gospel of Jesus Christ can advance in power of God’s Spirit to reach the souls of the people of our city, taking new territory for God.
We are called to pray that every wall of opposition will be torn down in the spirit realm. God said to Joshua, When you hear the priests give one long blast on the rams’ horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Then the walls of the town will collapse, and the people can charge straight into the town. (Joshua 6:5).
Join us as we lift our hearts to God in prayer and shout with a voice of triumph to see every wall of opposition and every plan of the enemy destroyed and the kingdom of God advance in power of God’s Holy Spirit. We must possess the land in the spirit before we will see it the natural realm. So join us as we engage in spiritual warfare prayer and advance the kingdom of God.

Prayer Points
1 John 1:9 - Confess any known and unknown sins.
Bring sincere repentance unto the Lord regarding any hidden sin that may hinder the move of God during and after this 21-day prayer and fasting.
Declare 7x and say it aloud: In 2019, My God, Jehovah Elohim is taking me to a place where I have never been before in prayer, the word and in my giving. For I will possess the land.
Joshua 3:10 – Like the people of Israel, drive out the agents of evil from my life and household in Jesus’ name as I possess the “LAND”.
Lord, uproot and drive out the agents of evil from PPT as we move forward as a church to possess the “LAND”.
In 2019, as PPT advances Your work in ministry, Jehovah Nissi drive out the agents of the devil in Jesus’ name.
Joshua 3:10 - In Jesus’ name drive out the agents of evil working against our pastoral team as they lead us like the Levites to possess the “LAND”.
Joshua 6:2 – Lord, speak clearly to our pastoral team as they lead us to possess the “LAND”.
Joshua 6:8-11 – Father we pray for a spirit of adherence for PPT as we follow our spiritual leadership to possess the “LAND”.
Joshua 6:20 – In Jesus’ name, every wall of “JERICHO” in my life will and must fall.
Walls of Jericho around my household fall in Jesus’ name. (mention them)
SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH at the walls of Jericho in your life in Jesus’ name.
Joshua 6:20 – In Jesus’ name every wall of Jericho around PPT and its ministries fall, fall, fall.
Every wall of Jericho around the ministries of our pastoral team fall in Jesus’ name.
Genesis 17:8 – Lord, give the neighbourhood of North Brampton and its surrounding areas to PPT in Jesus’ name.
Obadiah 1:19 – In Jesus’ name and according to Your word PPT will possess the “LAND”.
I will possess the “LAND”;
My house will possess the “LAND”
Declare 7x – In 2019, I will not live in the past but will live in the overflow of God’s grace, goodness and blessing.
Jehovah, release PPT’s Youth Pastor to us in Jesus’ name.
