As this month comes to a close, God has been “opening our eyes” as we have sought the Lord in fasting and prayer. He has been showing us what He wants us to see in our lives, our world, and His kingdom. We shared many wonderful testimonies this past Wednesday night on Pastor’s Chat. Everyone loves encouragement so please join us for the Love Challenge! Throughout the month of February, we want you to join us in reaching out with the God’s love to others with words of encouragement. Call or text one different person every day and let them know what you appreciate about them. Solomon said, “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.” (Prov.12:25) Let’s reach out to one another with God’s love in our hearts and make some people’s hearts glad this month!
People need a tangible expression of love from our benevolent Food Pantry. During the month of February, we are asking you to make benevolent food donations by dropping them off in the church office vestibule weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. You can also drop-off your tithes and offerings by placing them in the drop-box there. Thank you for helping us provide this practical expression of love right now.
What The Heart Craves. We all want to be swept away, to be loved in spite of ourselves, to be fully accepted, to be cherished, to matter to someone. Join us this Sunday for a message that speaks to this core desire and God’s provision for it. Also invite someone you know who needs to hear this message!
